Difference headlights Audi 80 Coupe and RS2

today received a set of new elipsoide head lights for my RS2. That is I ordered them as being RS2 head lights. However when doing a check on google using the part number: 895 941 029N (other 30N) or Hella 1AL 007 140-09 (other -10) it seems that these are head lights for the Audi 80 B4 coupe.

Can anyone confirm that these units are the same and therefore should fit the RS2 with no problems?

Otherwise I have the send them back and get the right head lights.
    Many thanks

    They look good new!

Audi 80 units have the side that houses our sidelights as a seperate unit and are actually the indicator on the 80. On our cars the indicator is in the bumper with the fogs.

A normal 80 headlight will appear more square in shape due to this. i would assume you are getting audi 80 when you search the PN as the RS and S2 is a deviation on the B4 80 platform but im sure someone will put me right on that. I am just guessing with this last bit.

The mounting legs for the under trims are missing.

the headlights are not RS2 specific, they fit on all the models with the grille integrated in the hood (so called b4)

someone's probably had them on a 3b with the early one piece under headlight trim.

OK I can see the difference. Can I transfer the trim mounts from the current lights to these new ones? The reason I need to change the lights is a broken glass and the reflectors are not the best any more.

Are these trim mounts necesarry for proper installation or is there added value limited?

Just swap the innards into another outer, takes around 20 mins a light and very easy to do.

Someone put a post up just before Xmas about a guy who makes the metal brackets to replace these. Not sure who it was otherwise I would post it up for you. I would advise to buy those and add them instead of swapping it all out
