Okay, for some reason I was misunderstood in my first post.
That is because you used the word "Mileage" (implying, at least to me, fuel consumption rate) instead of "Odometer Reading" which it the digital record of the total miles/kilometers that the vehicle has experienced.
Here are some S6 Trip Computer Retrofit links to threads on my home forum that *might* help you.

Oh, sorry. The word "Milage" is a direct transelation from the Norwegian word meaning the same. My bad.
Thank you for some very interesting reading, but did unfortunally not solve my problem
I have gotten both Autocheck and consumption reading to work, all that is left is the bloody odometer reading!
Have used google and several international Vw/Audi forums, but no luck.
I have at this point try using; VagCom, Vag K+Can Commander and Vag Tacho.
Both the last ones, I have not gotten any contact with the instrumentpanel, only the IMMO box and Generally Fault codes (Engine, abs etc).
I`ve gotten contact with the instrument trough using VagCom, but there is no function for correcting the odometer (Off Course. They don`t want anyone to fidle with this)

vag dash should do it if im not mistaken
Have you had any experience with, or heard of people using the "Vag Dash" on C4 to correct odometer reading?
A bit of a stupid question that I have stubled upon while try finding an answer:
What does it mean to "Read and Write Eproom"?

From the C4 Robert Bentley manuals, Vol. 3, Pg. W90 - 118, regarding "Instrument cluster mileage display, setting":
First off, if Robert Bentley calls the odometer reading, "mileage", I give up. That said, apologies to AudiRS. (Personally, I'll stick with "odometer reading" and let mileage be the car's fuel consumption, e.g. 32 miles/gallon)
Okay, getting to the point, this is what the Bentley says:
* This setting is only possible with a new cluster
* This setting is possible only one time for each instrument cluster
* Only a larger setting value can be entered
* IF the wrong information has been entered and confirmed; correction is NOT possible. The instrument cluster must be replaced.

It then goes on to explain how to code the new virgin cluster to the correct odometer reading.
@URS4boy I don't roll back the mileage for a living and I don't do that so people to sell cars with low mileage.
Best part is that can be done. We can discuss ages about up sides and down sides , so I don't think it's worth it.

Mileage (as in fuel useage rate ( L/100 km or miles per gallon)) can be calibrated wth the trip computer dip switches:
Thanks for this - it's very useful as I'm now running RS2 injectors in my S6 and so the mpg is reading higher by about 10% due to the bigger injectors. e.g. if I'm seeing 30mpg on the display, I'm actually achieving about 24mpg
Just to clarify though, do I want to choose the -10% configuration to correct this, or the +10%?
