I was recently working in under the dash to connect a wiring loom for a set of electric recaros. Now the difflock switch doesnt light up in the section with the wheel layout diagram on it. The button to press is illuminated and the additional bulb lights in it when I press it. I've looked inside it and the bulbs look okay and I've swapped it for another and it's the same. I realise I could have two switches with the same bulbs blown but unlikely I thought. I sense that something might have been knocked when we were working up in under dash but where? Any ideas?

My switch is the same the two little lights are on but the main illumination doesnt.
I just assumed it was a blown bulb. I look forward to the answer. -
Here is one diff lock wiring diagram (below):

I've just changed the bulbs and now it's working!
I took them out of an old switch but I need one more.
Does anyone know an exact specification for the bulbs?
I will try to post some photos.

I'm still struggling with this. I've replaced all three bulbs and now the switch is lit when the car light are on. However when I press the button on the switch to engage the diff lock a triangular light illuminates on the button but the green dot, or rather the bulb behind it, doesn't light.
I have two switches and it's the same for them both.
Any ideas lads?1996 S2 ABY Coupe silver

Umm...maybe
1. The diff lock actuator is b*ggered and therefore the F100 diff lock acknowledgement switch is not engaged OR..
2. The F100 diff lock acknowledgement switch or the plug and wiring is b*ggered.

tested this theory the other day and can confirm, rolling the car slightly does indeed flick up the green 'engaged' light
