    Sunroof - Help badly needed

This is wrecking my head the last few weeks, If anyone has any ideas please help.

    Be patient with me:

    93 Audi 80 TDI

Here are the wires as follows and the voltage with ignition on and car not running

    Sunroof Switch:
    Blue 1.6v
    Brown 0v (Earth)
    Red/Yellow 1.6v
    Black/Red 1.6v
    Black/Brown 1.6v

    Sunroof Motor:
    Red/Blue 1.6v
    Blue 1.6v
    White 1.6v
    Brown 1.6v (?? Should this be 0v (Earth) ??)
    Black 1.6v
At opposite end of motor then (going to relay)
    Green 1.6v
    Black 1.6v

    Relay:
    Red/Yellow 0v
    Brown 0v
    White,Green, and Red/Black 0v
    Black 0v

Now when I put 12v direct to the Red/Blue or the Blue on the Motor itself (see pic), I have 12v at all the points that I previously had 1.6v.

And the sunroof works 100 percent.

And with the 12v direct to the Red/Blue or Blue, I now have 12v at 3 points of the relay instead of 0v as previous. (none at the Brown still as Earth).

When I press sunroof switch all volts go to 0v.

SO anyone know why I only have 1.6v ? Whats to blame

The supply comes from the electric window control unit under the dash. I would suggest changing that. Do the electric windows still work?

Are you thinking of Relay 363? Controls the windows and sunroof? If so, this car doesn't have one. Most other 80's have one but not this.
The sunroof relay and window relay are separate, you can see the sunroof relay attached to the motor and I have changed this twice

I don't know the number, but it's the double relay under the dash. The sunroof does have it's own relay, but the supply to the sunroof is controlled by the window control unit. The only exception to this is cars with no electric windows, in that case the only thing between the supply from the fusebox and the motor is the thermal fuse, so I would try changing that.

This car had electric windows alright, but the motors were getting slow so I converted to manual windows.
I will check later for the relay you are talking about. If anyone has a pic or part number in the meantime..thanks
