    S2 immobiliser question

Hi guys, im stripping my S2 for paint and cage etc as some already know, ive taken the alarm out as its not needed, but i came accross a 'pirhana' box which i think is an aftermarket immobiliser. This was disconnected anyway and the car would be running fine. The wiring to it has been butchered before so i think its time to bin it off, since ill be going with VEMS eventually. My question ia this really, where is the factory immobiliser location? Can the S2 standard ecu be de-immobilised? I run a tdi engine in a mk2 golf and i have some experience with de immobilising the ecu this way - is it a similar experience with the motronic? Car in question is a late ABY coup

    Thank you

Most important question - what is part number on the ECU - does it end with A or B ?

That has factory Immo code on the chips but yes can be disabled.
