I noticed the windows on my coupe still work when the ignition is off and the car is locked. I'm pretty sure they used to power off when you opened (or closed) the door?
Not sure how long it's been like this and wondering if this is the reason I had a flat battery recently. Could I have done something wrong when I had the dash out or could it maybe even date back to when the rear windows were fitted? Or could the locking pump be going wrong?? Not sure how the window power delay works.
I'm pretty sure though that I used to be able to switch off the ignition and I could wind the window up but if I opened the door and closed it then the window wouldn't work and I'd have to switch the ignition on again.
Really puzzled about this and hope it's not going to take 4 years to find it like it did with my courtesy lights
