My wipers have suddenly chosen to stop mid screen. The blades , and the mechanism
where both changed a few months ago and where working fine. they still work fine but as I say stop in the wrong place. Any Ideas would be appreciated: thumbs:
If they still work but park in the wrong place you could just undo the nut at the motor and reposition the mechanism.......but why it chose to do this and will it do it again could be an issue?!
Not sure if this is what you mean John. but it does not matter when or how I operate the switch they still return to the middle of the screen. If they where to get stuck for some reason could this happen.

I understand, instead of the wipers parking at the base of the windscreen they're parking mid sweep. If they park in exactly the same place every time then if you were to loosen the nut at the MOTOR spindle and free the small linkage from the motor spline and then position the linkage in the correct park position and finally secure the linkage back onto the motor.
It may be that the splines on the motor have become damaged and so the linkage has slipped??
Just be careful when doing all this. IF the wipers are sweeping the window correctly but, not parking in the correct place then altering the alignment in the motor might make them sweep off the screen. I'd lift the wipers off the screen when trialling this...just in case
Thanks Guys. Just one more job that will have to wait. Very busy at the moment.
