I'm pretty sure when my coupe is right, my drain is about 9mA (I removed the alarm)
Battery drain still going on

If you park indoors at smart charger, you can't be far from a power socket
If you park outside a solar charger could be an answer
I have no idea if 38mA is good or bad, we need more data!

Ok.
Did the fuse /relay/ electronics check just now.
Just to clarify. I had the negative pole off and as you see in the picture I had the connectors one on the battery and one on the negative cable which was disconnected from the battery while the positive was on the battery.
I saw this configuration from a video on you tube.
This is the reading I got today. With the alarm disengaged. I pulled all the fuses and relays I could locate and the only difference I got was when I disconnected the radio which went from 00.8 to 00.6 . Nothing else made it move whatsoever.
Also as you can see the multimeter was set at 200m. So compared to the photo above it must be very small measurement isn't it?

Move the black lead to the VmA socket on the far right of the meter and try again on the 200mA settingsigpic

You could start pulling biggest plugs under the fusebox by one, checking drain and putting back and repeating with next one. Could also find nothing with this. Something is connected directly to battery and not through fusebox.
I have different multimeter, but looking at this if you put black plug into 10Adc, you should switch to 10A at the round switch.
Actually COM is black and 10Adc or VmA is red - it doesn't change anything but looks "right".

I have had this issue twice. first time it was the alarm flashing, I have disconnected the siren so you don't know its going of in the night. that was a combination of the bonnet not pressing the switch down far enough, and sometimes it was next doors cat.
The second time it was the after run pump. As they are meant to do, it would cut in when I turned the car off , but wasn't cutting out.Comment

Thanks for the replies.
Yes looking at the multimeter it should be the other way around but I was also attaching the wires the opposite way so I wasn't getting the minus sign. I may get my hands in a more decent meter actually soon.
My after run pump definitely works and stops. I have double checked that. Alarm wise I am not not arming it at all to see if I still get a drain.Comment

To measure mA the leads should definitely be centre (black) and right (red). The left hand connection is only used for the "max 10A" high current reading.
When you measure you have to sit in the car with the meter, lock the doors and wait for the car to go to sleep, you get a few seconds then a tick and the current should drop.Comment
