Right Click Remotes - What one for C4?

These are radio frequency remotes that can be used to add a remote to cars with central locking but no remotes or with infrared remotes that suck more than usual. People used to use Right Click's 669W-ULT but they don't list that one anymore. Right Click (the company) is not super helpful.

This would be for my 94 S4 avant that has central locking (via key in the door) but no remote.

I am hoping someone has recent experience with purchasing these remotes.

I used the old one you mentioned, this looks like the replacement?

I wonder if the VW plug and play one would work if the central locking pumps are the same?

I've just emailed Right Click again and asked them what their current offering is for the equivalent of the older 669W-ULT. I presume the answer will be the one in the id=1152 link. Thanks Andy.

The wiring diagram and pulse set up looks the same, new box, they are generic/adaptable to fit different locking systems, remember to set the pulse time correctly (little switch on the side I overlooked the first time).

I have the wiring figured out properly but I was not aware of the pulse time thanks.

You're missing my point. It is not about the thing you push. It is about the black box that receives the RF signal and talks to the UrS4 central locking pump.

I installed this on mine and it's been working faultlessly. The quality of the key fob isn't particularly good as the key feels flimsy when it's unfolded, but it has a good range and it's very dependable.

That's what I'm saying. Or I miss something? Or you are just jealous because I have a better car?

Look at this, in German. The princip is the same and the black box you can check with the instrument or bulb.

I fitted the KE669HC to my car recently and it works fine.
