12v permanent

Hi I know this sounds rather simple question and I did try to look for answer in forum - but I failed...

Can someone advice where the easier /most sensible 12v permanent feed I can get inside the car under the dash.

I need this for my black box with auto shut down features...

Radio wiring would be easy to access?
How many amps will your "black box" be drawing?

Should be a decently thick red wire going into the back of the cigarette lighter that you could tap into. The cigarette lighter is on permanent "30" bus wiring, protected by a 15 Amp fuse in position S4.

the blackbox rated 10W max and avg 6.6W. so I would say 1A is more than enough
