My trip seems to have become intermitent too recently. Sometimes it all works the other time only some do. Cleaned the pins at the weekend where it mates with the back of the binnacle so could be worth a punt, seems to have made an improvement so far.

How much gas was in the tank when you had that issue? I've seen it go to "E" when the tank is very low. Never seen this before. Odd.

Mine's been intermittent the past month also. Usually comes on after the car has been operating after about 15 mins but would sporadically go away and come back. Was wondering if there's a relay worth looking at or if cleaning the contacts would work. Gonna do a clean first as suggested. FWIW, it does the above with and without a full tank of gas.

Still doing it but only the mileage range reading, sometimes it's there sometimes not, when it is there its wildly optimistic, like saying I can do 250 miles when I've already done 150
The fuel gauge is still reading high too so I'm sure these things are related.
