    Flasher problem

Hello I have had this problem occur in the past and thought I had cured it alas NOT when I operate either left or right hand flasher the hazards operate, in the past I have changed the relay, the hazard switch everything worked then it's back to normal hazards on when indicating right or left ,I renewed both rear light units (twice) , everything works fine ,after a short while the fault comes back again , I finally changed the stalk with a brand new one , yippee it worked for about 2 weeks now it's back to normal hazards on all the time when indicating left or right ,any of you electrical guru,s HELP,point me in the right direction please.Derek

Get the police involved, that usually sorts flashers!!! Lol

    Sorry couldn't help it.

Have you tried the trick of squirting wd40 in the steering stalks and wiggling them about loads? That has helped a few people out as the contacts dry out or need a little clean occasionally

I'd check ground connections Aswell,an iffy ground can cause all manner of weird electrical issues

Does it have an alarm system which flashes the hazards, could be a fault there maybe?

              Flashers

Recent development when I lock or unlock the car the flashers now flash never did that before only thing I have done recently (last weekend ) was to change the flasher stalk ,I wonder if I have disturbed the sensor wire for the fob for the alarm ?
