Engine earth points only on IM?

So the guy who owned the car before me had put a big earth strap from the intake manifold to the strut bar.

Car still have the original ground wires on the Intake manifold.

But are there any other earth points on engine? How about on chassis in engine compartment?

I would like to remove the strap, but what should I check to see that everything is ok?

Jonas,

There is a earth cable that goes from the chassis leg to the block above the oil cooler.
Passes through the red ringed grommets with the main 12v feed to starter motor.

Off the top of my head the big one on a 3B was bellhousing, ABY turbo side chassis leg-block, should be 2 small earth connection points on the intake manifold.

Ok so one big earth strap at turbo side and the ones on IM, that should be it?

Can it be bought as a spare part?

I can get a 600mm long that is 16mm2 or I can get a 350mm long that is 35mm2

600mm long 16mm2 is more like it.
Think 350mm would be a bit tight.
You can always loose a bit of slack at the chassis leg.
