Possible to drive with VAGCOM connected all the time?

Why not get hold of the 2 connectors as per the fuse box, run some wires from inside the car plug them in to the existing connectors and do it like that.

The fuse box lid does not fit and shut with the 2x2 connectors plugged in therefore theres a serious risk of getting water in the fuses.

Right its a bit dark out there,
Jamo i will have a better go tomoro to find where the connections route to, there is a custom connection box in there so thats where my money lies....

The pics are pretty usless but you get the idea I send the lead behiend the center console and out into the passanger foot well for the vag port

Any have any ideas why my acel ped has a alen key bolt through it

Thats std on a 3B, it's only on the inferior ABY that the connectors are in the fuse box

Well there you go I never knew that, my friends V6 coupe and 80 quattro both have them in the fuse box and they are the same years as the 3B production runs

Right need to find a scrapped VAG car now to knick the connector and test my theory!

There's a ready made loom available from Audi themselves.
Seems the question remains unanswered as to whether it works 100%
