A little help on testing fuel pressure

    Well,

Since my car is still running rich i will try to check the fuel pressure. I will get a double banjo and test it on the fuel rail as Porkiss told me. But iam unsure how i get the full pump to run while the engine is off? Do i short out the pump relay or what?

And a nother question. Can i put 2 air pressure on the FPR via the little hose to check it the pressure is oki?

I too am interested as mine appeared to be running lean before i left the uk. I fitted a new fuel pump from ECP, it looked the same, i hope it was. Could the turbo glowing red problem be caused by a worn turbo, the hot side and the 1st 3" of down pipe were cherry red and the boost dropped to 0.4 bar. I will be looking at rigging up a permanant fuel pressure gauge under the bonnet to see how things are running, maybe even go digital and mount it inside somewhere.
