Stock boost on the G60 PG engine is 0.8 bar, assuming it has the stock 78mm pulley, a smaller pulley like 68mm can achieve as much as 15-16psi on a freshly rebuilt charger. Low boost levels lower than stock suggests worn apex strips on the charger, also jabbasport dont have a good reputation with charger rebuilds, alot of jabba customers have had their chargers go pop.

It could also be a boost leak, a very common place to leak boost is at the charger outlet black box, its usualli cracks. You can cure this by installing a rsr outlet on it.

I have small pulleys/chips/rsr outlets and loads more G60 tuning toys.

      Contact me for more info.

      thanks

I too have heard bad stories about Jabba rebuilds. They also dont honor warranties as on their chargers as they are running higher than stock boost!! Isnt that the reason for the uprated chargers?? LOL

My girfriend have had G60 Corrado couple years, and i have tuned it a little bit, so here is couple tips. If ecu:s program has not been changed, it will prevent boost increase above 0,7-0,8 vy openin ISV. You can identify this by taking wire of from ISV and try if boost will increase, but be carefull becouse original fuel/spark maps will not support 1.2bar boost. Normal G60 without any mods but 68mm should make around 1bar pressure over 6000rpm, boost pressure rising is highly linear, 2000rpm 0,3bar -> 6000rpm 1,0bar.

Looks like you have charger outlet and chargecooler from Corrado, that black silencer box after charger is total restrictor. By changing RS-style aluminium outlet you can benefit about 0,1-0,2bar boost increase.

200hp from that machine is not any problem, i have 196hp from flywheel. 70mm pulley, ecu chip, freeflow airfilter system and new cat-back exhaust.

tried running withou isv disconnected but its still holding back,it will pull smoothly when cold ie.when on choke,im pretty sure its running too lean when up to temperature as the problem worsens as engine temp increases, any ideas???
