7A FPR and standard 3B injector

    hi,

    I just readed this thread:

    And I have one question.

If I use with 3b engine 7a (4bar) FPR, is there going to be any changes with fuel consumption? I mean, is fuel consumption growing?

I'm running a k26/t04, RS2EM, chipped and free flow exhaust.

    with best regards,

IMHO you need a remap first. Also you need to find how much fuel you injectors will give with more fuel pressure to make remap usefull. Other way is to use AAN/ABY ECU.

Without proper maps, you just get too rich mixture. It means less ponies especially at low rpm.

      I undertand You perfectly.

I asking this because problem is . . . when I accelerating . . . in middle rpms, mixture is rich (with 3 gear and up), but 5700rpm and up, mixture isn' t rich anymore. It' s optimal (shows a/f gauge), very near to rich, but it isn' t.

I know, I should be using a green injectors, and ADU or ABY FPR, but I readed this thread what I pointet earlier . . . and, before I get there, maybe I just upgrade FPR 7A,?

The right remap will come, when I know what exactly I going to do with the car.

But what will happend with fuel consumption when I just change FPR?
      I' m thinking at loud . . . more pressure = more fuel, bigger fuel consumption? I' m a right?

      with best regards,

If you just change the FPR without altering the mapping it will run very rich, I have done this and had to take it off again till I could get Mihnea to remap, it was really un-drivable.
