Catch tank - vent to air or maf-turbo hose?

    Well,

Got the catch tank system fitted and now it is venting to the engine. This is however a bad thing. Since iam getting a headake driving the car.

So venting to the wheel arc is one solution, but is this enough to prevent the fumes for getting into the car?

If i vent to the MAF-Turbo hose, wont i then loose the meaning of the catch tank system? I mean this way it can pass MOT and iam sure i wont get fumes into the car.

Jonas, if your catch tank is doing its job and seperating the oil from the vapours then i suppose you should be ok dumping it to the maf-turbo hose.
Or do 'bigtoes' mod and connect the catch tank vent into your downpipe which will create a vacuum and suck the vapours out into the exhaust system.

Yeah perhaps i will vent it back into maf-turbo hose. But what is your oppinoin on venting in the wheel arc? Is it possible not to get fumes inside the car?

Mark H had his venting to the wheel arch for quite a while without problems i think.
