    will this fit?

Hi having probs at the moment with my alternator. could be the belt needs tightening or could be the VR or could be the alternator itself. If it is i need a quick fix so would this fit ?

you are going to wait for a few days for the bidding ? why dont you get it reconditioned for about £40 with a years gurantee?

where can i get that done? I am going to tighten the belt tomorrow and see if that cures the problem. Then i will change the VR and see if that does it. If not then i will change the alternator thats why i thought i could get that as a cheap quick fix (especially with xmas on its way )

you must have alternator starter motor repairers around your area surely ? its better than buying a second hand one and having the same problem soon after .

they normally check first what needs doing ( the check is normally free )then they repair whatever is needed they normally give you 1 year gurantee so a bit of piece of mind . voltage regulator is normally a cheaper fix than a fully recon alternator. my man in brum normally charges me around £40 but some alternators are more expensive than others.
