    Lovefab Header, GT40R, 4" downpipe!!!

Well here are the pictures of my new setup. It is a Garrett GT4088R .95 a/r. The header is by www.Lovefab.com They retail for $1100 dollars. The downpipe is a 4" stainless steel open dump. I will eventually run 4" all the way out the back with a 4" magnaflow race muffler. The header is all stainless steel made from 1.5" schedule 40 stainless steel. It has a ID of 1.61" and a OD of 1.9". The wastegate is a Innovative Turbo Systems Progate 42mm.

Note the clearance to the tierod is very close with the 4" downpipe. It clears but just barely. I'm going to max out this gt40r then step up to a gt42r. I'm excited my project is finally coming together.

The craftmanship of this manifold is amazing. I'm really excited to get this thing fired up. Btw these pictures are of my manifold, turbo and downpipe on Elijahs car. He was kind enough to let Cody from Lovefab build me a manifold on his car while his was in for a manifold.

Now that my manifold and Elijahs manifold have been made, there where jigs taken from these manifolds. Cody can build headers for t3, t4 and KKK turbos.

I'm doing a run of intake manifold flanges with fuel rail standoffs and a -10 AN rail. The intake flange is CNC'd out of billet Aluminum.

I'm doing a short runner intake manifold at the moment.

I'm having a run of flanges CNC'd out of billet. Here is a Picture:

Check out this thread for more info on ordering:

      That looks very sweet!
I'm looking forward to the power it produces. Keep us posted!
How is the clearance at the subframe with that 4" pipe?

      Cheers

The wastegate is larger then the factory gate. I dont really think it is needed, but I had it already so I used it.

                    Very nice Justin.

I reckon you would have a few people interested in those CNC'd intake manifold flanges, would definately be better than sourcing and cutting up OEM IM's.

That is my feeling on it. I didn't want to cut up a perfectly good AAN or 3b intake manifold to make my manifold. This is more cost effective for me as well.

How is your intake manifold performing Mark?

                        Justin

At that price it would also be very cost effective option for us over here too, and a lot easier than hunting down IM's to butcher.

Its all finished now, but I haven't tried it out yet as the head is off at the moment. Pressure tested it and its OK, so hopefully should try it out in a few weeks or so

I will go with a 95.5mm stroke when I step it up to the gt42r

Looks really good Mark. My intake manifold should turn out similar. Is that a 75mm mustang throttle body I spy?

Please send me some pictures once you get it on the car. I want to see how it all fits.
