Stuck at 400bhp any ideas ?

I have an ABY, pauter rods, fordged pistons(8.5-1), rs2 exhaust cam, running K27, tubular manifold, 3in exhaust(1free flow silencer) larger intercooler. Recent rolling road and mapping session got 400bhp @ 1.6bar 6500rpm and 380lbs of torque, increasing the boost past 1.6bar did not improve power just the torque(as you would expect). I was looking to run up to 2 bar (if necessary) and achieve 450+bhp. Anybody got any ideas ?

Was looking for more useful a ideas, surely more boost = more power ?

Who has done the ECU map on your car? What injectors are you using? Fuel pump? You probably need a bigger turbo regardless...

Motec, twin fuel pumps, 750cc injectors, charge temp remaining low while increasing boost. K27 has got to be more than 400hp !

You must have more boost past the 5000 RPM! How is your boost curve now?1.6 is the overboost or the boost at 7000 RPM ? Can your turbo flow that much air?

If more boost(with same charge temp, A/F and no knock/ign. miss.) doesn't give power, ported head and better cams is a good start.

what size is your turbo (I mean the real size, diamater of inlet and outlet)

my cylinder head is mildly ported 3 angle valve seats etc, how important is that area in a turbo engine ? I'm looking for at least another 50bhp

Cams on the other hand, i'm running an rs2 exhaust cam and standard rs2/aby inlet cam, is this the right chioce will that restrict it to 400bhp ? The engine pulls very hard to the redline 7500 and full boost is @ 3700. Max power 6530.

Not sure about the turbo trying to get full spec from vendor. Even the if it was the smallest spec K27 I would have thought it would give more than 400bhp ?

The "K27" does not mean anything it can be still 250hp turbo, you really need to know your turbo.

Are you running mtm chips by any chance?
