sink your foot into the carpet at at bout 4000rpm coughs and back fires and sounds like anti lag, sound good but not ideal.
suspect fuel pump?
cheers

I have the same problem, exact same symptoms at WOT. It happened after I cleaned my injectors a while ago (at BOSCH dealer) and I havent been able to cure it.
Pressure tested ok, swapped MAF with another one which is supposed to be good, still the same. When lifting off the throttle a bit it pulls cleanly again.
Would be nice to get any input on this!!

The fault you describe sounds very similar to one I had. I pulled the blink codes which pointed me towards a knock sensor. The ECU in a ABY/ADU can retard the boost if the knock sensor detects knocking or if the knock sensor is faulty. My problem was a poorly soldered terminal in the knock sensor connector. Repairing the connector sorted it.

dont overlook things like ht leads and coilpacks, worth changing your plugs too if they are not fresh ones...
If you go down the coilpack replacement route, as well as the above check the power output stages (POS) aka power amplifiers. These are the things that the coilpack leads plug into. In my case I had a non-firing cylinder that was not fixed by replaceing the coilpacks which ended up being a failed POS channel. This was fixed by rewiring the connectors and using the spare channel on the POS.
Also cleaning injectors can slightly reduce fuel flow.

I recently changed both my knock sensors, one of them was looking really bad, see pic. But I didn't know that it could cause this kind of behaviour?
I had a look at the connectors, some of the insulation on one of the wires was missing, and the plastic inside the connector which separates the pins was broken. No visible short circuit though.

I have a 3B, could these symptoms be connected to the ignition amplifyer/coil? Or will it be more of a full stop situation as this single unit feeds sparks to all cylinders?
Reduced fuel flow, hmm maybe I should test with a set of "uncleaned" set of injectors and see if it's back to normal..

Measured fuel pressure under load, fuel pressure rose(?) parallell with manifold pressure ->ok
Installed new dizzy! (old one leaked oil internally)
Smoother running and stronger from lov revs, a lot of hesitation gone () but still cutoff.
Changed MAF, symtoms did not change.
Changed plugs from Bosch FR5DP (I know, not original but bought from a well known Norwegian tuner. Don't know replacement interval on them) to the old original Bosch plugs. And no cutoff since.
But still holding back a little @ high boost, I'm beginning to think that it is running lean and then the knock sensors retards the ignition. Maybe get me a WB lambda kit and check..
