So did anyone tried the Schrick camshafts ??

i m tempted but wanna know if it s a real improuvment and if it s much better than standard ones.

i think silence does make the answer !

and i m surprised how many tuned engine uses the standard cam.

So, i ll throw my money at some other parts or improvment.

Plenty of people making upwards of 400bhp on stock cams. And higher lift of RS2, NM or 7A EX cams provides a bit more flow - used to good effect. Exotic camshafts require special knowledge - probably only necessary for race/rally applications - and may have detrimental performance for normal road use. Just my opinion but the cost is certainly a barrier to people wishing to try any aftermarket camshafts - plus more time and effort tweaking timing on them and adjusting ECU parameters to suit - bit of a minefield.
