It's also best AFAIK to replace the Intercooler and the headgasket for RS2 ones as well as fitting a de-cat stainless steel exhaust.Originally posted by andoni

ABY or 3B? If its an ABY rod bearings and head gasket should be ok. So you need Turbo, Ex.Manifold, Injectors, Intercooler and Re-map with new Map sensor. Get a set of Samco hoses too or you'll just waste loads of time and money chasing boost leaks. You can have about 360 HP with this set up.
If its a 3B (with distributor ignition) you'll need new rod bearings and a metal head gasket. (or get it mapped for less power..)
