Ok, so it's running a 508ci Chevy motor so it doesn't really count, but if you had an S2 you wouldn't want to drop a Chevy block in it would ya!

It's not an S2, started life as a 1989 Coupe 2.2E (FWD). It's been converted to RWD, running a big block American V8, and it HAS cracked the 1000 PS mark!

I've seen it go down the Pod, and it is quick, and the noise...

You could have 1000hp if you put turbos on a 4.2. Chasing 1000hp in a 5 cylinder is a not a good use of anybody's time =p

I have a friend who is putting turbos on 4.2 S4 engine for the past 3 years , not a really good idea at all. Still haven't finished his project ... . All becouse there aren't much info on the subject.

And as I see it , it's easier to get 1000HP from 5pot then put turbos on that 4.2

Ah, but not if your friend goes the RS6 route! Good luck to him, it should be an awesome engine when completed.
