not sure if it is the same on the rs2.But first take all the connectors off the top of the injectors, then undo the banjo bolts holding the fuel line to the fuel rail. The feed/return pipe(17 mm)Oh and a little retaining bolt holding the return fuel pipe. Then their are two bolts holding the fuel rail to the inlet manifold. Then just pull the rail/injectors out.Sure to have forgot something though!

It is possible to gently lever off the fuel rail off the injectors without disconnecting it from the fuel supply. The fuel is under pressure so it will spurt out, but it does stop. You might want to consider replacing the O rings on the injectors when refiting them.

Also you could get your injectors cleaned whilst they are out.

I would strongly advise that you get them properly cleaned and flow tested while they are out

Yeah and get new O-rings fitted on them... They are a bit fiddly to replace though.

Listed as 035 906 149 A on the S2 and RS2 engines - need two per injector. Approx 2 quid each retail in the UK from a stealer... Crazy.

If the family album is to be believed than the O-ring dimensions are 7.52 x 3.53

If anyone's interested, I can buy Viton O rings in that exact size for about 20p each.
Viton are more resiliant to petrol and temperature than rubber o rings.
I'd be quite happy to buy a 100 or so and just distibute them to you guys for cost ?

ditto...when can you get these in? I'm getting my injectors ultrasonically cleaned over the next couple of days by a local ASNU agent. be great to refresh the seals on re-installing.
