Merry Christmas dear S2 fans.
I am new with the turbo 5 cylinder Audi. Earlier I had a 5 cylinder non turbo coupe, than a 2,8 V6 coupe quattro than came my recent 96 ABY S2. I knew it would not be a typically economy car but really, how much fuel is normal? Mine drinks 16-18 liters per 100 km in town (OK its winter now) and well over 10 on the long run when I am mild on the gaspedal. The Audi service computer shows one single message: fuel mixture production disturbance. The factory service booklet suggests: too high fuel pressure. Too low fuel pressure. Failed lambda sonda. Or air volume meter. Any suggestion about this problem?
