I may do That to begin with to make life easier and then just get an ABY and gearbox!!!!

your standard coupe gearbox is good to handle a lot of power, but if you must know its just the transmission tunnel bit from an s2 because the linkage is different on 6 speed boxes

Check on the FA, the baffle is a pressed steel part that has a gasket either side and sits inbetween the sump and the engine block. The baffle is about £40 and the gaskets are £11 ish.

The last of the line AAN's (and possibly???) the ABY's had them also.

no welding required. I have fitted them to a few 20v's (and a couple of 10v's that have had the 20v sump fitted) that have been high hp it goes a long way to keeping the excess oil that is flying around in the sump off the crank.

Azman why dont you use an ABY and ditch the dual mass flywheel? I'm using a 3B flywheel on mine with the 6speed box but you could use any 5speed on it.

Nope, consider yourself lucky.

I will have to look into what I can get my hands on closer to the time Mac. I don't know what state the gearbox is in on the car I have. Judging from the amount of rust that flew out of it when it turned over it may not be that good. But I will have a close inspection before I do anything. May just be that the fly wheel is rusted up good and proper and needs a good drive around to give it a clean. Will have to waqit and see.

Hey the good news is that the hotel has internet facilities provided so I can keep up with whsts going on and throw a few more ideas to the wind as they pop up.

Just a note regarding rods, I'll be putting in one more small order for SPMs due to popular demand shortly, so let me know if you're interested. Probably the last chance to get the group-buy rates... will be sooner rather that later though. And I wouldn't bother if you need them within a month!!
