    Coil pack watch

    Week 1

Well into the first week and my first reports are

    1. I have my high boost back
    2. My fuel consumption has started to decrease, I am getting more miles to the tank and no I have not changed my driving style, if anything I am being more lead footed due to point 1.
    3. Car starts easier and revs so much more cleaner, by that I mean it isn't lumpy like it was.
    4. no issues with the coil cover being fitted yet.

    Roll on week 2

              Week 2

Still no problems with the cover being fitted and car is performing very well and fuel consumption is still down.

Averaging about 500 miles a week, mainly motorway with some twisty stuff thrown in for fun

Has anyone on the forum bought the 034 coil packs? if so have you noticed any improvement on BOOST, FUEL or start up?
i am thinking about an upgrade even thou my coil packs are fine.

                cheers nick

I can now say that this coil pack conversion is worth every penny, got mine today and installed it this lunchtime, all of 15 minutes if that really, i am running mine without the cover on just to be different, thanks again Corey.

i think it was £235 shipped i paid a little more as i used paypal to take into account Corey's paypal charge, try pricing a coil pack for an aan engine from audi they want around £120 each if i remember right. such a simple solution plug and play, solved my high boost misfire and the car now pulls like a bloody train.

so if these coil packs are curing misfires and boost problems. why are only 1 or 2 people buying them and why is nobody rushing to buy them?

                        cheers nick

The theory is great, the coilpacks are good, i'm watching this thread for the long term test of them with the coil cover on.

You can run them all day with the coil cover off which Iain has chosen to do hence his purchase.

I want to run with a cover so if they get the long term thumbs up i'll be having a set.
