    boost

I have just done a pressure test on my 3b, and found a couple of leaks, one on the metel pipe that enters the maf hose, and one on the intercooler, at the dreaded o ring .
I fixed the intercooler leek. useing the mark H mod, and a short length of 63mm silicon, it worked fine and sealed the leak.
I tested the car and it seemed to have more power, but ether boost protection, or limp mode still comes in at W.O.T. but it seems to run fine on half throttle. when I got back we checked for a boost leak again, and my son, with his younger ears, could hear a faint hiss from the back of the engine behind the rocker cover. My questions are is there any thing behind there that could leak and cause my boost problems, or could any thing else be at fault.
To date I have changed ,rear knock censor, dump valve with TT version ,n75 control ,valve and multitempriture censor, thermostate , plugs , rebuilt the engine, top and bottom; new rotor arm and cap, changed the maf with the one of my s6, but still the same problem. Any help anyone can offer would be much appreciated before I by a BMW or shoot my self ,not sure whats worse,

Cheers Wab, and would this small leak be enough to cause boost protection.

Yes, its quite a common place for a leak, usually on the underside of the ISV outlet there should be loads of spares around the forum due to people fitting samcos.
