biggest problem is you have to remap for water/ethanol injection , but then you have to use it all the time.

it could be best to use with a double map piggyback where you can switch maps when you want to use water injection. also some piggybacks have an extra injector channel to use with water/ethanol or nitrous injection.

Life is complicated enough, never mind having 2 maps, restrict your right foot until you get some more water, you do not run 2 maps just in case you cannot get Optimax and have to use normal unleaded. And as mentioned above share the windscreen washer bottle, it is big enough.

its best to use these kits with methanol imho, and 2 maps with a piggyback will be a good choice, when using this, but if you dont have a piggybacjk, it will still be good.

why doesn't someone look into using the headlight washer bottle to add an intercooler spray along the lines of the prodrive scoobys? Simply wire up the pump to a switch and run some tubing around the intercooler with small holes in should do the trick. Water on intercooler - evap - cooler air into engine.....

actually we did this to a friend, we used copper tubing, bent like an ellips, and drilled 10 points on it, and connected to the windcreen washer pump

works quite good and cost about 5 bucks

or you can always have 21 litre water injection tank sitting behind the drivers seat i would always go with 50%water mixed with 50% methanol . this way it would act like extra fuel and in winter it won't freeze .

You'd just need to make sure you use the same washer fluid and same mixture if the car was mapped on a certain mixture & brand maybe.

I think doug RS2 bought one of the intercooler mister kits years ago

you could put a switch for wot, then when you floor it, water will flow to the i/c

Read the article I put the link to, it is a bit more complicated than that (if you want an effective I/C spray)

here it is again if you're all to lazy to scroll back up

i read most of it.it seems a nice idea.i will hold it for the future. For now i will reduce temps with lower thermal sensors around the engine and hopefully when more money come my way i will try something more complicated
                              thanks
