    Hey guess what,

    just spoke to arrow today.

They are going to get an accurate price for me tommorow but the rough ball part figure is £550 each!!!

I know it's alot of money but I will organise a group buy if we can get 10 pple interested.

I madly want a set of these! 30% lighter than steel rods!!!

It should get the price down to 1250 for a set of 5 roughly instead of 2750!!!

Let me know what you think guys!

There will be cheaper options I know but thats not really what I'm after.

carrillo rods are around the 1000 mark. people will buy those?

I would rather lighter titanium and they are bomb proof too!

Better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them!

Keith at dialynx uses them in his audi sport quattro. check out the 1/4 mile times in the back of the golf or PVW.

Me personaly, I think it's a worthwhile investment.

I would pay it if we could get the discount. Will any others???

dialynx shorty is virtually all plastic or carbon is yours ? its all to do with power to weight ratio his fuel tank is 2 gallons his shorty weighs less than 1000 kg .personally i think its overkill lots of modded cars use uprated rods but not titanium i've seen cars with over 700 bhp that don't use titanium rods .to compete with dialynx shorty you have to do more than just titanium rods .

I know what it's all to do with.

I'm not trying to compete with keith's sport quattro, or even building anything like it.
I just was impressed with his 1/4 mile times and know he uses arrow titanium rods. sorry if it seemed I was suggesting a set of rods could make your car do 88mph and go back to 1885.

I just want to use lightweight rods so I get a much better response, better pickup and a super tough bottom end. I'll also reduce hammer on the crank by reducing the mass of the reciprocating parts.

I want the best for my car like all of us here!

If you get them for £1250 per set of five, i'll consider it. Haven't decided on which way to go with the next engine yet; I-beam, H-beam, steel, alu or titanium.

I could be interested, but I assume that they have to be all the same in order to get the discount. I would want mine with some mods and different size wrist pin.

I will ask for you, but i think the reason they discount a group buy is the machine is already set up. Let me double check.

I am after titanium really. I want as little weight as poss. but with as much strength.

If this group buy doesn't kick off and you know of some lightweight steel rods that can take good power then give me a shout.

Pawter rods do titanium, about 3000+ USD, that is with discount to me. Far too expensive for Mr Joe Bloggs and me.
