Reading the comments on the pistonheads forum, this stuff is already infiltrating the pumps across the UK! It seems like the Optimax brand is being replaced. Great stuff, as I filled up twice with this stuff on the trip to the 'ring and whilst I can't say it seemed any better than the Tesco's 99, i think the mileage was a little better.
Should be the same price as Optimax (a direct replacement at the pumps) and be 99RON instead.
Just filled my A4 quatsport with 'V-power' (98.9 in Leeds), looking forward to seeing how she pulls on my commute to Salford Quays early tomorrow morning... :mischeif:
Noticed it says it has 'Friction Modifiers as used in F1' Does this mean I get free nikasil bores?
Nothing feels fast for long...

I noticed this advertised in Diss as the replacement to Optimax - I did wonder if this would prove to be the genuine thing or just another watered-down fuel. So if this is good stuff my prayers really have been answered, I won't need to make a nearly 60 mile round trip to Ipswich/Copdock Tesco just to get good fuel after all!!!

It's not better than sex, but it runs it a close second.
If its a replacement for optimax, that means they will no longer sell optimax. so every station that HAD optimax in theory should have V power.
V power.. what a name... i prefered optimax. its like.. Virtual Power.. makes u think u got more bhp than u have .. or V-Power the new playstation game OUT NOW!!
