If it boosts the same with the WGFV unplugged, the problem is the WGFV or the wiring to it. If you have VAGCOM (you said you had no error codes), do an output test. If the WGFV does not click when you get to it with the output test, you know where the problem is!

      Still open ..

Im still open for more ideas since I havent addressed it yet unfortunately.
Its just like its not starting to use the signal from the mapsensor and only uses the MAF signal; If I remember correct the stock MAF are able to read flow for about 120 hp which is roughly how the car feels like. Up till that point it runs without any hickups.

Cam timing are not the problem nor cams since ive tried both stock and 7A cams. Boost at mapsensor have also been measured to be correct.

My car is exactly the same. I have got my car booked in at MRC this Friday. When It has been done I will ask them what the problem was hopefully it might be something similar to yours and simple to resolve.

I can't wait for the MRC boys to tune up my car and finally get it running right.

        I'll report back

          Waiting

I´m really fed up with this car. We´ve tried to sort out the problem for quite a while now, but no luck at all. All ideas are appreciated and I´m waiting for Ian to tell us what the problem was with his car
We are quite sure the timing is not the issue since we´ve changed the timing belt and then we did reset the crank to TDC and checked everything, but no difference
If it even where running in "limp mode" it would have been so much easier. Everything started when one of the hoses on the turbo pressure side fell of. The first thought was that the turbo turned in so it was renovated but no difference, then we tried another ECU, no difference. We´ve also tried changing the MAF, WG, fuel pump, TPS and injectors. The car always runs the same and no faultcodes.

          I think I need a drink...

Well my car is running much better since going to MRC but don't think it will resolve your problem.

First thing we tried on my car was a pressure test we found that the pressure was just espacing from the breather pipe and not building any pressure at all. After looking around the car we found that there was no one way valve round the back of the engine. Once the valve was on the pressure was building like normal and power was back.

Another problem with my car was the connections on the ECU were not to good at all. When we placed the ECU back in the car it wouldn't even start so that might be another thing to check especially if you know your car has leaks.

            Hope this helps,

            Ian

              More ideas?

I keep asking myself what is the most obvious thing I've missed to check, theres gotta be something extremly trivial thats causing the problem but I havent discovered it yet. Further ideas are still welcome.

When I installed a wibeband lambadsensor and measured the behavour I noted that afr never went down really during rev&load- it stayes around low 14's the best.

Next is to remove intake cam and pressure/leakdowntest from pipe before throttlebody.

My god I hate this car!
