      Hello,

My company also spec. for audi 5 cyl engine build and remapping any motronic equipped car and dta,motec,tdd... ecu mapping, we have also 2 wheeldrive rolling road to measure hp. I know that many people think that we are in eastern europe riding on horses ,but we can make quality work, as we use the same equip. too.
Our prices almost half that you get in western eu, so it may worth to come here. (hungary is in the middle of europe....)
My relatives lives in england, chelmsford so i can get there easily too, to make some mapping as my friend do with mitshu evos all over the world.
      pm, email,call,sms me if interested:

Anyways since I am europe based I found a tuning comapny in germany that I hope can get my projects going. http://www.mb-cartuning.de/

I can see a pattern here,me also.In the long run pure ignorance isnt the way to run a business.Even a simple email explaining 'we are too busy' or whatever would do .I went elsewhere in the end and was very happy with the results.I wouldnt bother with those lot again.

There is indeed a very large pattern forming here. If you search the forum for MRC, many posts are simply complaining that they received no reply. As you say, not the way to do business, especially when we are trying to throw money at them. So where did you go please?

@ all other responses...many thanks for the info I think we can all see a new (and positive) pattern forming and suspect that my hard-earned may well be heading off in that direction

Maybe we should look at getting this new pattern more closely linked to the forum (i.e. a banner add) so that others who miss this thread can find there way

          Cheers n

You have to realise that MRC are but 2 people and Doug is working 7 days a week doing mech work whilst Mihnea has to travel the world doing mapping.

Whilst it would be nice to be able to contact them (i've had trouble contacting them in the past but have perserved and managed to get hold of them) the results speak for themselves.

I can't remember if Audiman is still an MRC agent and if they have other agent?

              [QUOTE]

Other business' that receive more work than they can handle (like emailing vagparts) have done something about it like getting more staff, setting up automated reply's informing customers of work load, suggesting different ways to contact etc.. Why cant MRC?

                Ask them not me!

I'm merely telling why it's happening. In a nutshell i would imagine to employ someone lowers operating profits hence the highend focus.

I'm sure Ski if you offer yourself for free you could sort it out

All companies that are small have to do this at the start, i know my company did and still does and we're global.

VAGParts have the same problem regarding emails, i know Martyn's been working like trooper recently

Anyhow my last word, take your problems up with MRC if you wish to continue this dicussion.

I agree with both Ski and Jamo here and let me state that I did not start this thread to go MRC bashing (particularly since I may have been swamped from the 'friends of MRC'). However, I am annoyed at their patent lack of respect for the community that funds their living, but I tried to be more subtle in my first post. It is others who have started and then joined the slight MRC bashing bandwagon (although I happen to agree with it), and no one can argue with the growing number of complaints.

As for Jamo's comments, I know that you are a friend of MRC and I understand that they are a start-up. I also recognise that they have a considerable amount of expertise in the very area that I need, but that does not excuse the consistent ignorance shown. I wanted to spend my money within the community, in order to do my bit to help continue the growth of expertise, but now feel 'why should I?'

Initially, I was worried that it was MRC or nowt in terms of finding a tuner for my car, but the posts above suggest that this is far from the case, which makes their failure to respond all the more fascinating. This thread can now serve to show newcomers to the forum that there is a good choice and that if the recommended company cannot arrange their business affairs to suit their customers, then there are plenty of alternatives.

A final suggestion: the MRC website needs help! I would suggest it is nearly a year since it was udated and many of the sections still say 'coming soon'. In this day and age, you NEED a good website and there must be at least a dozen webmasters on here with varying skills (mine is good HTML, average PHP and average MySQL) who would surely help in exchange for a quick tune up. Others might have a wife looking for a part time receptionist post or be able to offer email filtering and answering services.

                  Cheers n

Hi Si, i'm not blindly defending MRC and biased towards them, i'm stating the facts. because i'm stating the facts people want to take the issue up with me!

I have offered you 2 different solutions i explored because i could not get MRC contact myself, how unbiased is that?

I know for a fact Doug has little to no time to check forums anymore.

Hey mate, not having a pop at you at all, quite the reverse - although I have to say that it is you that got me into this mess in the first place by waving an irresistable turbo under my nose

I appreciate your neutral advise on the subject, as I am sure that Doug would if he did have time to read the forum (and find his PM from me )

                      Peace and dude

I've always used MTM via QST - can't vouch for any of the others, but can't complain. And that keeps me happy.

QST have been brilliant for me to. My UR has been basically built by Kim and since i have had the S2 he has worked on that to. Not some peoples cup of tea but i have found QST fantastic

That depemds. My brother took his UR to about 3 so called specialists and wasted upwards of 4k before finding QST. So in that sense i would rather take my car to someone who really does know them instead of some who pretends they do.
