Split and clogged up Breather Tube

I was checking my MFTS on the weekend and spotted a fair amount of oil near the top of the clutch.

After having a look around i noticed that the Breather Tube 034 103 221 AH that runs to the Pressure Regulating Valve 034 129 101 A was completely built up with crap and also had a 1" split in it that has been leaking oil all over the shot.

This has been ongoing for a while but i only just found the leak.

I know these PVC tubes are hideously expensive so now seems like a good time to install the new breather/catcher tank that was purchased a few months ago - Just need to get the right lengths of samco hose and do a little bit of research on here as to where to connect it etc.

I did find a few threads already on people that have done this already.
Does anyone have details on what is required apart form the tank itself?

    Thanks in advance.
