    I live in Cheshire,

to the West and South the cheshire countryside beckons, all the roads are covered in manure and slow moving tractors.
To the North is Manchester with it's speed cameras ( I don't know how Ski manages) and lots of traffic.

To the East is the Peak District where my favourite pub is. 13 miles to my local. This is full of Bumpy potholed roads and suicidal sheep. Handling and brakes are very important here.

Mind you, you still need to have the power to overtake the Maestro drivers just before the bends.

Across the road There is an Aston Martin dealership. 1 mile away there is a Maserati and a Porsche dealership. You should see the Porsches which are badly driven round here. The Porsche Cayenne is the car of the moment. Most of this is from ill gotten gains ( usually Financial services etc.) not a good honest days work like a drugs dealer....

There's a great butcher in Dumfries where I got some fantastic fillet steaks. near the top of a road on the right, very well run. and the Haggis are good as well.

well.. ive got used to my s2 now.. after 3 months... drift'ed in it and maxed each gear... now i want more... so i planning rs2 turbo, manifold n ecu...

now im confident i will be happy with this and will not demand more unless soemone in a fiesta leaves me at the start line.. however, im fully aware that "other" mods will catch my eye and tempt me like HUGE wheels, brakes, suspension etc...

but.. unlike some that have posted above.. each penny spent on the s2 is the best penny spent and when i think of the hundres or future-thousands of ponds ive spent (or about to spend) i look at them with pride

Dont stop the mods.. i wanna try em all MUHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *choke choke cough cough* ahahahahaha...

Believe it or not there are only 2 butchers in Dumfries (a town of 35000 people). Not sure which one you mean though.

I used to live in Chester and work in Runcorn (guess which chemical company I worked for?). I know the roads in Cheshire quite well. There are some crackers, but its still a very busy area. You can't go far without getting stuck behind someone.

Is the garage you're talking about called Stratton or Statton or something? I used to drive past it regularly and drool.
I saw an F40 on the road between Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. Its the only one I've ever seen that was actually moving.

The butcher in the main street is good but this one is called on the way back to 'Civilisation'. They are called JB Houston.

There are plenty of good roads but they are all falling prey to the 50mph restriction. The Leek to Ashbourne road was wonderful, now there are lots of speed cameras and 40 + 50 Mph sections.

The garage was run By Ron Stratton and he sold to Stratstone a London car dealer.

I live near the roundabout at the south of Wilmslow on the Alderley Edge road. I have seen Diablos, F40, F50 , XJ220 etc all rolling round on sunny days. An actor from Coronation Street parked outside the office in his Ferrari 308.

Go to Goodwood you will see lots of F40s. and maybe Michelle Mouton in a short quattro....

I hope Ski's computer company is making lots of money to keep his S2 going. My computer customers don't want to buy anything at the moment......
