Hi. Today i make a pressure test on my S2 94 Avant. I pump it up to appx.1,0 bar. It hold the pressure more than 20 sec. but i am heard a strange noice from the inside of the engine. It bubble from the oil sump.
Is that normal. I test it because i have the cut off problem.
Kindly Bjoern.

could be turbo oil seals, quite common when pressure testing
No it´s not through the piston rings. I´m only testing the hose, intercooler and the turbo. I think it´s through the oil pipes, but is it normal. I´m a little bit worried.
Its the pressure going though the turbo seals and blowing the oil back down the lines into the crankcase, when the turbo oil lines are empty it starts to bubble, mine does this on a low milage RS2 turbo. I'd say its normal.
Mine did this when I pressure tested too. No pressure was entering through the crankcase as I bunged up the crankcase breather on the side of the head.
