Car is still completely standard apart from a custom made 3" exhaust system, Engine is sound and only has pvc system problem (atm).
Ohh and the break warning comes on every soften when you start it too.
Apart from that its lovely, it pulls nice had hard (for stock) and there is no shaft play when you drop the clutch or change gear at very high revs.
Just needt o find somewhere now where i can store it and start stripping it down.
Cheers.

i have a question bout the catch tank. u actually take away the oil fumes from the turbo line, getting clean air in the turbo and therefore in the engine. but that fumes also lubrificate the turbo. didnt audi calculated this lubrification in the ecuation? i hope i made myself clear...Audi Quattro WRComment

No lubrication of the turbo is done on the journal bearings by the oil lines to the turbo.i have a question bout the catch tank. u actually take away the oil fumes from the turbo line, getting clean air in the turbo and therefore in the engine. but that fumes also lubrificate the turbo. didnt audi calculated this lubrification in the ecuation? i hope i made myself clear...
Oil in the PCV would simply pass through the impellers.Comment

The sad thing is. I went to see this car nearly 4 years ago, when it was for sale for £6500, and it looked mint. Although it did have the squeakiest tailgate I've ever heard.Yeah bought another one the other day.

Those wheels were almost brand new then. The tail lights had just been changed too, to the 'red' ones Bo.
Oh BTW, the reg is supposed to be a personalised one.
52 = S2 I was told. I read it as Road Traffic Accident, so steered clear.
I had a go against it on the road about 3½ years ago. It didn't go too bad then, but no match for my car. :mischeif: Have you found a bleed valve yet Bo?
