Boost gauge plumbing???

Hi, I'm a newbie - with a typically newbie question.
I've searched the posts but cannot find the answer!
Where is the best place to plumb in a boost sensor???
Any tips gratefully recieved!!

Well on a lhd the ECU is located under the floor mat, at the right side. On my car if have inserted a t-piece where boost pipe connects to the ecu and then up to my boost guage.
