Hope this is of use to some of you...

P.S. I understand this is the oil of choice for the S2...

used a few times now - brilliant service. I think you might have to spend over £30 to get free delivery, but you might as well buy 2 off of the 4 litres everytime and eventually you will get a free oil change!

Cheers. I am still working on the free delivery but they sound helpful.

you need 4.5 litres for an oil change so a 4 litre +1 litre will take you over the £30 free del charge. I just get 2 off 4 litres - for some spare !

Isn't it better to run a fully synthetic high performance oil?

I guess they are discussing Castrol RS 10w 60 - which is fully synthetic.
I use it and it keeps oil pressure nice and high.

Aah... I assumed that the url being "Castrol Classic" meant it was chunky old "multigrade" or something like that...

10w 60, impressive. Might look out for that on my next oil change, which is due, oh, about now

Well - I was talking about RS 10W60 - takes ages to pour that stuff in the engine though

Someone was saying they could get a huge drum of the stuff for £200 - can't quite remember - but I have used 24 litres in the last year - £168 - and it's only done 6000 miles :eek2: I am seriously considering getting a drum of this - if someone can post more details on this.

                    Doug

Could have been me. The guys at my local Eurocarparts said they could get a drum, can't remeber the price though £200 and somethng? Also I guess VAT would have to be added.

Anyone know any castrol trade places?
