    No Spark

Just Finnished putting my 3B back together, Things that ive changed are :- 7A Cams, RS2 turbo withn standard 3b manifold (can't afford yet) and removed air con.
When i try to start it the starter turns the engine but there is no spark. There is fuel just before the injecters but probably not being injected! Before i take it to get fault codes does anyone have any ideas. ie does removing air con effect the engine starting. i have checked engine fuses.

Might sound daft but have you checked the HT leads are all connected?

I would go back and check your distributor. Presumably this was removed to fit the cams. Double check that all the basic timing marks line up, flywheel TDC, cam and the distributor. The hall sender connector is a good one to miss when in a hurry!

These engines are qute sensitive to the hall sender position. Whilst you haven't physically moved the dizzy body, you must have moved the distributor shaft as it meshes with the cam gear. So you would have moved removing the cams and again installing the 7A ones. Unfortunately it a PITA to see/get at.
For the engine to fire the centre line of the rotor arm must align with the scribed mark on the dizzy at TDC. The pic should give you a clue what I am talking about. I would remove the cap and poke a mirror and torch down there to see if you are even close.
Can't see that changing the turbo or removing the aircon would effect the car starting. So the only thing left is the camshaft replacement. As you need all three things aligned and you have only checked two, seems a good place to start.
