  • 3b fuel pressure regulator update..

    hey yall..... i need a 4 bar fpr for my 3b engine. 7a fpr's are not easy to find here in the usa. does anyone make an adaptor for the 3b lines and a new style fpr? looking for one that fits in the oem location with oem lines..

    You sure you want a 4 Bar FP regulator for your 3B?

    Stock 3B was 3 Bar. You can use whatever, as long as the software and the injectors are compatible with the pressure regulator:

    20V and 20VT Fuel Pressure Regulators are as follows:

    7A, 20V NA, 4.0 Bar nominal, bolt in = PN 054133534
    3B and RR, 20VT, 3.0 Bar nominal, bolt in = PN 034133534M
    AAN, 20VT, 4.0 Bar, clamp in to VIN P080000 = PN 078133534A (UrS4, Bosch 0280160516) (Clamp PN N10210602)
    AAN, 20VT, 4.0 Bar, clip in after VIN P080001 = PN 078133534A (UrS4, Bosch 0280160516) (Clip PN 037133047A)
    AAN, 20VT, 4.0 Bar, clip in = PN 078133534C (UrS6, Bosch 0280160517) (Clip PN 037133047A)
    ABY, 20VT, 4.0 Bar, clip in = PN 078133534C (same as AAN) (Clip PN 037133047A)
    RS2, 20VT, 3.8 Bar, clip in = PN 034133534P (Clip PN 037133047A)(Probably a Bosch 0 280 160 616 based on this Bosch Mini 38 pdf )

                  I don't think the ABY IM is much different in that respect although I didn't fit the rail until after I'd fitted my Wagner IM.
                  Main problem is where the hard lines finish, I had to bend them a bit to hook the braided lines up. Always intended to mod the hard lines to make it tidier but never got round to it.
                  Unfortunately I sold my 7A reg so can't offer you that.

                    There are a few 7A regs on EBay uk, about 70 Euro for a second hand one.
                    I could buy one for you and post it if you like

                          No, the 3B inlet manifold is different.
