    Newbie needing help with RS2 overhaul. Cambelt/water pump/plugs/coil packs/injectors

    Hi guys
Newly acquired a RS2 which needs a complete overhaul due to the previous owner knicking bits off this RS2 for another one he owns.
Car needs a complete overhaul and I am in the process of doing a complete resto.
Where can i get a new cambelt, waterpump, plugs, coil packs and injectors and pulleys and belts?
I have checked euro and cant find anything. Have heard alot of people say that these can all be used from S2's?

    Cheers

cam belt for RS2 is now only available from Audi tradition www.trshop.de as is the RS2 water pump. You can change the pulley over from an ABY pump as the only difference is the number of teeth on the pump.

Plugs are well discussed on the forum, I have opted for NGK BKR's instead of the F5DPOR's this time around.

Pulleys you may be able to get from a breaker or a member on the forum or opt for an adjustable version, it depends if you want to keep it all standard I guess.

    034109119C RS2 Timing belt 59EUR on tradition
034105229A Crank bolt 18.27EUR on tradition
    ?? Crank Washer
    034 903 137 B Alternator Belt
    034 260 849 E PAS Belt

The PAS and alternator belt you can get locally the same as the crank bolt.

Forget the cheap water pump it not a RS2 one , Diamond Crank washer stops the pulley from braking the key on the Crank pulley.... Terrybullwon has some billet pulleys as the are a weak spot... there was someone selling Rs2 water pump pulleys at one stage that you can just fit to a Aby water pump

Seems like day light robbery but £35 vs full engine rebuild its not that bad. I couldn't get one from TPS or Audi earlier this year though

SKF Have the ABY available I would think they will also have the ADU.

ABY SKF Part number VKPC 81612 Water Pump SA Rand 545.00

You can get the ABY pump and change the drive pulley

                      Thanks.

I've found a couple of references to it on other threads. It looks like the Diamond coated Crank Washer Part Number is 034105193

There is also discussion and topics on the crank pulleys that don't require the washer. The 3B doesn't have from these threads.

It looks that it is more to be a spacer.
