I have just tried to check my tps using the instructions in the picture, only to find the wiring on my 3b is different as in the second pic . Can anyone confirm my wiring is correct or not

This a pic of the forum and a pic of mine to show the difference . I believe it could be a pic put on by Dave , so could be from an ann but, not sure. The colours on mine are not easy to se so I will list them below .
I want to rule out any chance that my plug has the right wires in the right place as it is always possible they where taken out and put back wrong by a former owner (remember this car has always had idle issues.
if anyone could take a pic of there 3b I would help enormously ,as it go’s without saying the car is not running well
my wiring Ida’s follows
no 1 red/black
no 2 purple/ black
no 3 green/blue
no 4 Brown/ yellow
no5 not used
no 6 green/ brown -

Thanks John . I am chasing a problem with this car yet again.
it runs badly at low speed and on traffic is really hard to drive with jerky throttle response and delayed throttle response.
Also the boost has gone walkabouts.
Checking out the pcv tomorrow .
At the moment I can’t read the codes as the guy that did my matrix has tucked the diagnostic plugs up under the panel somewhere.
Its a bit like snakes and ladder at the moment .,
climb one foot up the ladder and slide Down a bloody great snake.Last edited by 220bhp; 7 June 2018, 06:49.Comment
