The new Garrett turbos are definitely interesting. Obviously a 660 won't make 660 bhp, more like 550 at best. I can say I really like the efr 7163 on my stroker with quick spool valve. It dives so nice in high gears. Almost like a diesel. But it keeps pulling after 6k rpm.
I'm tempted to say that the g Series will be more reliable when overspun, where as EFR's have proven to disintegrate when overspun.
I can only imagine what the new g28-770 will bring to the table.
Hmm, when I read the discussion here, it looks like my budget ~500hp turbo solution isn't so bad after all. Seems to be even a tad better than a 3076...

Have no experience with that so can't say a anything, but seems to be quite a lot bigger turbo for higher power levels. Doupt it will spool the same as the smaller competitor..? Could be a fun turbo anyway.
