GTX3071r g2 + stroker slow spool

Hello, i feel that this configuration spool slower than it can, do you have any ideas?

2.5L stroker 8.5:1
stock AAN cams (105/114 deg so minor 1-2 deg retarded then OEM spec)
Head just very slightly ported
GTX3071r gen2 witn smallest Vband 0.61 housing
custom made tubular manifold
turbosmart 45mm wastegate with 0.9bar spring(or as common here called 1.9bar)
2.75 free flow exhaust
BST reverse intake manifold
RS2 intercooler
Stock ecu with PRJmod
6speed box
Leak tested

On 3rd gear, 1,5bar boost reached 3600rpm, with stock ignition map, but car feels slow, when i add 6 degs, it runs better, but im on 3800-3900rpm.

Before, it was on PKM camshafts 10,5mm lift both, 107/113 timing, and stock ignition it was 3900rpm.

Now im focused on intake manifold or changing a turbo for a smaller one.

I'm running borg warner efr 6758 on 2.2 Liter engine. Full boost 1.6bar at 3100 RPM. Your setup i think should not feel slow. What gearbox are you running?

I think its some replacement box from audi A6/100 as original S2 ABY one died in prevousion ownership.


What turbine AR did you using?

Are you logging any knock?

Is the mapping made for the Stroker engine or the 2.2?
Set the cams on their original marks.

Zero knock on log. Its weird.
Mapping, or say PRJmod is done on stroker. Before it was still stroker, but on factory ecu mapped and smaller turbo,stock intake...
Cams are timed as i noted, which is actualy(1-2degs more or less) original 2.2L timing.
