I have been probing a loom off the car and there is no direct link I can find between 30 and any of the earths. But it does seem to be a common earth connection for things like the knock sensors and coding plug so perhaps its is bridged internally by the ecu.
The large brown earth connection does not seem to have any direct connection to the ecu connector although it is obviously an earth. It seems to be attached to the after run relay plate, one pin to the Aux loom and another to a black connector. There may be others!
So bit of a red herring- Sorry!
So we are left as to why it appears that the injectors are not being grounded. Do you have a noid light or low current led tester. Its easier to see whether the appropriate signals are getting to the injector than trying to hear them. If you use the output test it should be easy to hook up. We know you have power both with ignition on and cranking which leaves us with ground. If the light flashes then that would indicate a problem with the injectors.
Pins 10&19 are one connection on the inlet and 14&24 are the other.
Pins 10&19 are something to do with the shielding fror the knock/rpm/crank sensors.
Pins 14&24 are something to do with the lambda. Brown/red wire is connected to black 2 pin connector on Lambda.
On the ecu side:
Pins 19&14 internally connected 0 ohms.
Pins 19&10 @90 ohms.
Pins 14&10 @90 ohms.
Pins 24&19 internally connected 0 ohms.
Pins 30&19 internally connected 0 ohms.
Pins 48&19 internally connected 0 ohms.
Pins 14&19&24&30&48 internally connected 0 ohms.
So is little more complicated when the ecu is plugged in. There might be other inter connections.Last edited by twoqu; 22 July 2019, 11:42.Comment

Thanks for all your effort! Really apreciate that. I have bought 12V Led light to check if the injectors get "signal". I will check this tomorrow! Today i had not the time to visit the garage. I think a lot of the info out there must have originated from Paul N's work and I am pretty sure he used a breakout box. So perhaps thats why there is a disparity in some of the information. I am not sure how he, or anyone else, has come to the conclusion that Pin 14 is the ecu grounding for the injectors. Obviously not sure what happens when power is supplied!
Perhaps it is just that the injectors are stuck and need a bit of persuation. People do use a 9V battery to operate the injector. Others use a small hammer to rap them. Neither is as good as getting them cleaned and tested professionally.Comment

Yes, cam gear is set a "half tooth" to the left. Bottom end at org marks. All parts, waterpump, cam gear, cam belt is all RS2.

Yeah, thats maybe why there is different opinions.. About the injectors, if my led-light shows that I have signal to the injectors tomorrow i will have the injectors professionally tested and cleaned.I think a lot of the info out there must have originated from Paul N's work and I am pretty sure he used a breakout box. Today is a good day i hope.. Made a couple of hours at the garage today and did the things i would have started with. Yesterday i bought some 12V LED's to see if i was getting signal to the fuel injectors (Ground via ECU), BIG thanks to twoqu that meantioned this way of "check" for the injector ground. Today this was time for testing! Connected the 12V LED to male connectors (no need to, but i had them so i used this to connect to the connector plug). Careful to wich end is -minus and +plus12V. Therefore i put a tape on -minus, otherwise it wont light up. I had "signal" to all 5 fuel injectors.. So no electrical fault as i thought and that costed me and your time to help me...
Then i went to check the fuel pressure at the rail, using the fuel pressure adaptor that Jonas_R made for some months ago (very helpful now, i bought two, one for my URs4 and one to spare luckily).
Fuel pressure is close to 4bar at cranking (according to RS2 spec it should be 3,8bar but my gauge is not showing that small values so 4bar at crank is all good. That leaves me with one fault left, the injectors have a mechanical fault/is clogged. So today i found a company that is a service partner for Bosch, i will drive to them tomorrow and have my injectors tested and serviced. Hopfully they will find thats something is wrong. I will tell you tomorrow what the outcome of the test/service of the injectors was
The owner before me left the injectors connected at the rail with gasoline still left at the rail. If he had disconnected them, i wouldn't belive that they would be clogged up, but when they where left in gasoline i think it could be that they have clogged. I have seen this before at carburettors, the gasoline transformes in to something that looks like crytstals. Maybe thats it, but i will tell you tomorrow after the injector test/service.

Have you checked the resistance across the terminals on the injectors?
I've attached a spreadsheet of injector values, Think RS2 ones are part no 0280 150984?

No I haven't checked that. Will know the results of them tomorrow. Thanks for the info though!Comment

So you never tried the injectors from your S4 as I suggested on FB? Would have been easier =)Comment
