O ring size for 7A injector?

Hello all. I have been searching for the correct size o ring for the old hitachi injectors fitted to the 7A engine but come up with numbers which dont look right. I was hoping that someone might have better luck searching or be able to point me in the correct direction please?

workshop-manuals.com comes up with this number as the succession o ring now using viton rubber. 034 133 557E.

It doesn't look right to me and i cant think where this would actually go on the injector.

I'm looking for a set of the o rings that fit inside the rail as one of mine appears to have started dribbling. thankfully it is the one at the front so i could see it before anything disastrous happened.

injector part number is 054 133 551A and using that i don't seem to be able to find any diagrams which give the o ring sizes, I'm after the one on the left in my pic. The workshop manual i downloaded (think it might be bentley scan?) just says that when the injector o rings are disturbed 'fit new ones'.

    many thanks

Thanks both, the part number has steered me towards a diagram I couldn't find! what I didn't realise was that there are actually 2 o rings on the end of the injector that goes in the rail. I don't think I have ever seen both fitted in 17.5 years of ownership!

Lynn, thanks for the offer, I will measure a spare fuel rail but it looks like the one mentioned above is the one that sits in the inlet manifold but may have in my collection, the one I think I need is 13.3x3.45mm...

If I put 054 133 551A in 7 Zap it takes me to the earlier CQ with KJet.

Something not right with the Internet there.

Workshop-manuals.com steered me towards k jet orings when I was looking hence my initial confusion.

The part number brings up the hitachi injectors most other places

              Tonight I have measured things...

Workshop manuals. Com say it should be 13.3x3.45.

O ring that has started leaking seems to be 13.8x3.6mm. The increase in centre bore I could put down to age and stretching.
I had a 13x3.5 in my collection and that leaked more despite feeling like it fitted alright.

                13.3x3.45 is 054 133 557 A. There's also 054 133 557 B 9.4x1.8x6.4mm which goes on the top

Getting a suitable equivalent might be easier said than done... I've not dared try audi thus far but ecstuning in America list the 557a o ring and want 19 dollars each

It seems I may have found the source of the problem...

I took a punt on some viton seals I found sized 3.53mmx13.87. They seem to be a good fit and the closest I could find...

The leak persists and in closer inspection it seems no o ring will solve this leak as it appears to be coming out of the injector body itself from a hair line crack.

Difficult to photo but I'm pointing as it and it's just visible in the reflection where I rubbed the paint off. The leak was not dripping more spreading, wipe dry and it spreads back again but clearly upwards and not down from the fuel rail.

Damn it, resolve one snag and find another!

There is a story behind going down that route... Volvo injectors don't seem to operate quite right with the ecu, not noticable by 'feel' but with wide band lambda, you can see fuelling at wide open throttle is not quite there.

I've tried other bosch green (803) injectors which work well but they seem to be leaking from the nozzle so while I'm having this faulty injector nightmare I'm just running around with hitachi for the time being while I come up with a plan.
