My cruse control has stopped working.

I feel daft asking this but can somebody advise were is the control module situated.

It's mounted on a bracket in the area behind the dashboard carbon/wooden trim insert above the glovebox. Open the glove box and insert your hand up in this space and you'll be able to touch it.

I would first check the vacuum diaphragm & pedal switches. These are the common failure points.

Dry solder joints on the cruise module PCB is very common. Brake bulbs must also be working for cruise to activate.

Going to start with the easy stuff first.

Brake bulbs working. Warning light for a defective bulb comes on when starting the car.

One press of the brake peddle and the warning clears. I guess this is the normal operation. Is that correct?
